In the photos, you can see the snakes that inhabit Koh Chang, Thailand. Some are dangerous, others harmless. I’ve managed to spot a few slithering away on the island, with the largest being about a meter long.
Locals say snakes only attack humans in spring, and only if you accidentally step on them. The latter is nearly impossible as snakes have excellent hearing and quickly escape.
You can see most of Koh Chang’s snakes at the local sanctuary, which we visited with Irina Kozlova and Larisa Fedorova’s families. It’s always interesting to spend free time with Irina and Larisa – they’re amazing people!
