While traveling through Asia, at Bangkok airport in Thailand, we met Stas and Katya, amazingly interesting people from St. Petersburg.
They also travel extensively. But… by hitchhiking. That is, not by planes, ships, trains, buses… but in cars with strangers, making contact with unknown people for this purpose.
I’ll be honest, for my mind this seems beyond comprehension and such people are heroes to me. I respect such people for their courage and perseverance.
And therefore, meeting Stas and Katya at Thailand’s airport and then in India in the city of Darjeeling, where the world’s best tea grows, was a great stroke of luck for us.
