Как говориться без воды ни туды и не сюды.

Для приготовления пищи и питья питьевую воду на острове Ко Чанг  можно купить в магазине.  Или заказать доставку воды в больших бутылях.

As they say, you can’t go anywhere without water. Especially for digital nomads living on a tropical island!

On Ko Chang, drinking water can be bought in stores or delivered. But for showers and household needs, that’s too expensive. This is where the real adventure begins!

Resorts get water from the mountains and deliver it to the valley through plastic pipes. Our curiosity led us on an expedition into the jungle with Suni, her father Amnoy (our guide), and the future resort owners.

The climb up the mountain was challenging but exhilarating. We discovered that water flows into natural reservoirs from numerous mountain springs – a real revelation for us!

We saw a cave with bats and natural pools among the rocks. From the mountaintop, we had a breathtaking view of the Gulf of Siam.

This system ensures constant water supply, especially during the rainy season from May to October. By the way, the rainy season is a great time to travel in Thailand, trust me!

For digital nomads, such knowledge is invaluable. It helps us better understand local life and adapt to new conditions.

In the next post, I’ll show you how to cook Pad Thai, one of the most delicious dishes in Thai cuisine. After all, a good digital nomad should know not only how to work but also how to cook tasty meals!

Traveler’s Tip: Cost of 0.5 liters of drinking water in a store: 8 baht (rubles) per bottle. Tap water from street vending machines: 1 liter – 1 baht (ruble).

Share your life hacks about living on tropical islands. Your experience could be invaluable to other digital nomads!
