After a 4-hour journey by pickup truck from Koh Chang island, we arrived at the sacred mountain. From here, we could only proceed using the national park’s specialized transport.
We all switched to another vehicle, and a nearly 20-minute ascent up the winding mountain road began. People coming down the mountain looked at us with surprise, shouting cheerfully and waving friendly. Foreigners were a real novelty for them here.
For digital nomads, experiences like these remind us why we chose this lifestyle. It’s not just about working from anywhere – it’s about having unique adventures that most tourists never get to experience.

In the next post, you’ll see the Thai version of an “roller coaster” as we ascend to the sacred stone on the mountain. They say if you make a wish at this stone, it’s sure to come true. Who knows, maybe it’s the perfect place to wish for that big freelance contract!
Traveler’s Tip: Cost of a ticket for specialized transport at the foot of the mountain: 50 baht (rubles) per person.
For fellow digital nomads, this kind of journey offers a perfect opportunity to disconnect and recharge. Sometimes, stepping away from our laptops and immersing ourselves in local culture can spark new ideas and refresh our creativity.

Remember, the beauty of our lifestyle is the ability to blend work and adventure. Sometimes, the most inspiring moments happen when we least expect them – like on a winding road up a sacred mountain in Thailand!
